ABOUT ME

I've enjoyed the heck outta this town so far (16 years and counting). I love the scent of dirt and bark and change in the fall. The crispness that calls me to begin again. And then the warmth and spice of mulled cider to ward off the chill of winter. And then the dapples of light of early spring, dancing on the cherry blossoms exploding and exposing their pink bellies to the returning sun. And then that sun, the glorious sun, turning Seattle into a paradise for two short months. Oh, how I love Seattle summers.

I enjoy playing with paper and glue and paint. I love connecting, talking, sharing with others, giving and receiving in equal measures. I dance for pleasure. I volunteer. I give gratitude. I cook. I hug. I listen to music obsessively. I pet furry critters and make goo-goo noises at them. I'm sex-positive, queer-friendly, and try my damnedest to be compassionate at all times. I support local businesses, local farms, local non-profits. Sometimes I knit things. I'm a very busy massage therapist, and I am developing a movement and meditation practice that I hope to teach/facilitate soon. I also DJ for some local ecstatic dances.
