About Me

CURRENT MISSION

"...nothing is more damaging to the adventurous spirit within a man than a secure future."

ABOUT ME

I'm brand new to couch surfing and not really sure how this all works. I plan on doing a lot of traveling over the next few years and hope to meet lots of people along the way.

PHILOSOPHY

"Ditta Dhamma - Suka Rihari"

A Buddhist saying that means "To dwell happily, in this moment, in this life".

"The very basic core of a man's living spirit is his passion for adventure. The joy of our life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just moved to Denver about two months ago, so I'm still getting to know the area. However, I have family and a lot of friends right downtown who are all open to meeting new people also. At the moment I am unfortunately unable to host, but I'm more than happy to grab a drink!

Music, Movies, and Books

Some favorite authors are Jeanette Walls, Ken Follet, Paulo Coehlo, and Mitch Albom. Music ranges from country to things like A Fine Frenzy, The Format, Guster and similar bands. Too many to name, same goes for movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of my favorite moments was a night during the time I lived on St. John, USVI. A group of friends and I had spent a great night getting dinner and drinks in Cruz Bay and on the way home decided to stop by the Annaburg Ruins (sugar mill ruins from the time the Island was owned by the Dutch). We all crawled up into the Mill area, which has no roof, and laid on the ground listening to music. There must have been a meteor shower happening that night because all of sudden we were looking up and it looked like dozens of shooting stars. An amazing moment with some of my favorite people on the planet. Doesn't get much better than that.

Countries I’ve Visited
