ABOUT ME

I am senior Environmental Studies major at VCU in Richmond VA. I am a competitive cyclist, racing both road and Track bikes. Bicycles have been my primary source of transportation for about 4 years after selling my car. I am also a blues harmonica musician, playing with a local "Chess Records"style blues band. I enjoy living life and experiencing new things. I aim to live sustainably, as well as spread the importance of living this way.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am the founder of the Student Gardening Club at VCU. The club focused on community involvement and sustainable practices. Organic Crops were sold at a local farmers market or donated to needy families. I have also ran a local pedicab company with a partner. Pedicabs (bike taxis) offer an alternative choice to petrol powered vehicles throughout the city. I am also in the process of organizing my neighborhoods first community clean-up
