I'm a Wisconsin Native who is moving to NYC to do my Advanced Standing MSW Year at Columbia University. I was born and raised in Green Bay, Wi and have also lived in Madison, Wisconsin and Madrid, Spain. I am working on getting my clinical license so that I can provide direct practice to individuals affected by sexual violence! I currently work as a case manager and mental health counselor for women and children affected by sex trafficking. I am also studying for the LSAT (i'm very nerdy LOL) and hope to attend law school within the next 5 years. I am also a first generation college student- which is something I'm very proud of.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm interested in meeting new people when I move to NYC. I am moving on a whim and am ready for this new adventure, but don't know anyone in NYC! I really enjoy meeting new people, especially people from different all different backgrounds. I think it can be super amazing to share and create memories.
