My favorite way of exploring new places is with a local.
Whether this is a good or bad thing, I tend to steer clear of typical tourist spots and prefer to slip into whatever the locals find worthwhile. So far this has approach has given me some incredibly unique and memorable experiences.

I've traveled in a variety of ways (hotels, hostels, airbnb, camping, trekking, etc) but never Couchsurfing. Seems like a good time to know what it's all about!
