Overview
About Me
I am an American, living in France since 2010. Right now, I am a cognitive psychology student in my first year of Master's and an English teacher, but I've also been a fille au pair and a bartender in the past.
I enjoy talking about learning a new language and helping people whenever I can. I have a cat and a dog, I love them (and pets in general) very much.
Things that are important to me are being kind and respectful to others, and being curious and open-minded about the world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Of course for travelling, but also to help me become more outgoing. I love making new friends but I can be shy at first, so I think spending time with fellow couchsurfers could be a great opportunity to come out of my shell!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I left my home in Michigan when I was 18 and moved to France alone! Now, I have been living in Paris for 7 years.
Teach, Learn, Share
We could work on our French together, or I can help with your English.
I can give you tips about visiting Paris and the Paris region, and a couple other cities in France.
I also like talking about my studies in Psychology.
I would love to learn more about the history and traditions of the places I visit.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I would love to bake some American goodies for you, or cook you a traditional French recipe. I would be happy to spend time with you and get to know you; I am a good listener. I could also be a partner for swimming lengths or city biking, and I'm a beginner rollerblader so in the right place, we could do that, too!
