Overview
About Me
I love art, education, history, photography and physical movement.
For a year and a half, I lived in Guatemala where I learned Spanish and worked as a Kindergarten teacher, an English teacher and at an art center that focuses on political action and alternative education. I facilitate conflict resolution workshops that teach transformative power through experiential learning and cooperative games. I hope to learn about different forms of education and peace-building throughout my travels!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love the idea of couchsurfing as a way to get to know the unique people that make up a place. Everyone has their own histories and experiences. My main purpose for travelling is to meet people and understand the links we share across cultures and backgrounds. Couchsurfing allows the opportunity to share time and space, if only for just a little while.
