Overview
About Me
I'm currently a junior in college majoring in psychology. I love to travel and hope that one day when I have my PhD I can travel the world helping those who need it most. For now though, I love to travel simply because there is so much to explore in this world and I want to see as much of it as I possibly can.
Fun/Fast Facts About Me:
-The fluency test I just took has deemed me "partially fluent" in Spanish, although I think that's a bit of an overestimation of my abilities.
-I write a weekly article for the Odyssey.
-I currently work overnight shifts as a security guard and day shifts as a nanny... (when I'm not in class.)
-I am ALWAYS up for an adventure.
-I. Love. Coffee.
-I hate small talk. Talk to me about the big things in life.
-I thoroughly enjoy meeting new people and hearing about their stories.
-I love being outside- hiking, biking, etc.
That's me!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing for 3 reasons:
1.) It allows me to travel on my very limited, college student budget.
2.) I love meeting new people and hearing their stories.
3.) When I travel, I despise being just another "tourist" and Couchsurfing allows me to be as close to a "local" as possible.

Music, Movies, and Books
I truly enjoy nearly any genre of music, with the exceptions of polka and gospel. In particular however, I enjoy Indie Rock, Alternative Rock, Rap and Country. (An eclectic mix, I know.)
My all-time favorite movie is "Dirty Dancing;" but, some of my other favorites include "Unbroken," "Save The Last Dance" and "Divergent."
As far as T.V. shows go... "Friends" never, ever gets old.
Oh! And books? There's so many that I love but two that stand out in my mind are the "Night" trilogy and "Cuckoo's Nest."
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The summer following my sophomore year, I organized a St. Baldrick's fundraiser where I shaved my head completely bald to raise money for childhood cancer research.
