Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I'd heard of couchsurfing, but never looked into it until we decided to travel to the nation's most expensive city. My husband and I want to visit New York City for my birthday, but would prefer to use our money on doing fun things rather than spending it all on a bed in a hotel. We both love people, and it would be helpful to lean about the city from locals.
If we love couchsurfing, then maybe we'll consider doing this all over the place.

I spend most of my time on a screen: video games, tv binge- watching and movies.
I love to knit and recently picked up cross-stitching.
I prefer cats over dogs!
I love singing so much that I got a useless degree in it.
I love to eat, but am a terrible cook. I leave the cooking to my husband.

I would love to get to practice my Spanish, but really am terrible at it. Mostly, when I travel, I want to go and do the things that locals do and see. The tourist attractions are cool once, but then better on a postcard.
