About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To make new friends and share culture.

ABOUT ME

Hey guys!
I've had this profile for a while, but this is the first time I've really thought about getting down to business and setting it up. I'm a former Anthropology major so I love meeting people and learning about cultures. I've had a wide array of jobs in the past...everything from projectionist and beauty consultant to Disney Cast Member, but currently at the moment I have settled on a job as an assistant to an Oral Surgeon. Why the leap? I love helping people and well, it's finally something I can do to get weekends off~! (Thank goodness)

I love the sea and being outdoors.
At the moment I have a week off this summer and I'm looking for somewhere spontaneous to spend it.

I guess the rest of it you can learn by contacting me. I'm working to get verified, but I'm afraid I can't afford it until after payday. :)

However! Until I can afford it I'm happy to send letters or mail to verify to anyone who wants to stay.

PHILOSOPHY

Be open and accepting of everyone. Imagine. Live life to its fullest and never regret what makes you stronger.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Why am I doing this?
Simply put, to make new friends. To have more awesome people to hang out with on the weekends?
I'd love to meet all kinds of new people from around the world.

I love having fun and meeting new people, and anyone who wants to come through I'd be excited in showing them around. If you're interested in staying with me add me on AIM, Skype or MSN so we can get to know each other. :) (That way you can meet me, I can meet you and you'll know me before we really meet, ya know? Just message me and I'll give you my info!) If you want someone to show you around Texas I'm your girl too. I'm originally from the oh so boring town of Huntsville, but I went to school in San Antonio which is all kinds of awesome. If you're coming from abroad give me a heads up and I'll make sure to show you all of the more awesome parts of Texas so that you won't be disappointed! ;)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None yet!
But I did meet a couch surfer when he was hanging out with my friend Vi. I had never heard of this site until then, and after hearing about it I think it's a great idea. I'm pretty open about sharing information. If you want to add me just let me know and I'll be happy to answer any questions. :)

Interests

I like to: hike, kayak, read...too much maybe, go out for margaritas with my friends, do archery, watch fireworks, sing, daydream, watch terrible scifi and horror films and make fun of them, theater...anything to do with it really, watch epic scifi masterpieces like Doctor Who, write stories and watch the stars...ok, sounds lame, but really...try it sometime.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I guess the top three most amazing things I've done were going to Japan as an exchange student for our sister cities program when I was 14, becoming a Disney Cast Member in 2005 and getting to live at Walt Disney World! (Every five year old's dream, I assure you) and the most recent, going on a 28 mile hike in the mountains with my dad in Idaho.
It was beautiful. :)
Where I've been and done a lot of things these stick out in my mind as the three most amazing moments.

To me any new place I go is an amazing experience.
I love them all. :)

Teach, Learn, Share

Hahaha.
Well I can't teach much, but I do love cooking and I would love to share that with people.
Singing too, so if you want a random jam session I'll be thrilled!
I can make my own bows and arrows, but it takes a lot of time so I don't think I'd be able to do anything but show you how it's done unless you had a full month to crash.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Cayman Islands, Czech Republic, Germany, Jamaica, Liechtenstein, Mexico, Netherlands, Switzerland, Virgin Islands, British

Countries I’ve Lived In

Japan, United States
