ABOUT ME
Last year my friends and I started the Madison Free Skool. It's about making friends and learning together in my hometown. I'm passionate about creating alternatives to the school system and love to hear people's experiences with education.
Soon, I'd like to create a democratic free school for the kids of Madison to learn in freedom and community. Would love to meet others with experience doing similar projects!
I have recently started to travel with my banjo and I'm excited about the ways music brings people together.
PHILOSOPHY
Abundance, not scarcity. Love, not fear. I ask myself, is this opening myself to others or closing me off? Am I acting out of love or fear? Am I coming from a belief in abundance or a fear of scarcity? And I follow my heart.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Stayed with a CSer my friend had found in Eugene, OR this summer and really enjoyed it. My friends and I were roadtripping through and had really gotten into this live bluegrass album. We put it on one night and it turned into a wild dance party! Couchsurfing struck me as a great way to meet people and have fun in a new city so I decided to sign up!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Last summer I spent an evening in an old-growth redwood grove. The ferns and shadows and the silence, except for us and the trees, breathing.
