Overview
About Me
I'm originally from Florida where I graduated from the University of Central Florida in Orlando with a degree in Television Production. I moved to LA in September 2015 and after a few months of semi successful TV work, I now also work at a theme park. I studied abroad in Austria for four months in the fall of 2013 in my junior year of college which is where I decided travel was going to be a priority in my life. I absolutely fell in love with Europe and so many of it's wonderful cities. I grew up traveling all around the United States but still have so many places I want to see - basically I just want to go everywhere! I make travel videos of all my trips, collect fridge magnets of cities I've been to, have too much Harry Potter stuff, and love cats.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to not only visit new places, but truly experience their culture and learn as much as I can along the way. What better way to get to know a city than by talking with locals? I'm so eager to see the world and this seems like such a great way to do it!
Interests
I love discussing TV and movies and have made it a priority to study how they're made. I freelance as a production assistant and love being on set helping make stories come to life.
I also enjoy video editing, photography, and hanging out with my cat Stormy!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Study abroad! In fall 2013 I studied abroad in Salzburg, Austria where I lived for 4 months and it was the most incredible thing I've ever done. Everyday was such an adventure -- climbing mountains, visiting castles, cooking traditional Austrian food, traveling on the weekends -- it was the experience of a lifetime.
2nd most amazing thing: hiking through a river in an underground cave in Mexico.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you some "Southern-isms" as my mom is from Tennessee. They're basically just ridiculous Southern phrases.
I would love to learn some phrases in the language of every region I travel to. Even though I never retain it, I'm fascinated by local history.
I can share travel stories! I love hearing about other people's adventures around the world and would enjoy sharing experiences.
