An adventure enthusiast. I love new experiences, meeting new people, and the freedom traveling with no set plans give me.

I am graduating from the University of Kansas in May and hoping to travel around the world once I graduate. I grew up in the Chicago-land area but came to Kansas for university. During my studies I had the opportunity to study abroad in India for 3 weeks and then Australia for 6 months. I fell in love with the different cultures and way of life and would like to keep expanding this type of knowledge.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am Couchsurfing because it offers an opportunity for many different cultures to interact and promote a chance to travel affordable. I believe that helping others achieve their goals and dreams is one of the greatest feeling.

Couchsurfing also allows people to share their stories and adventures with each other making everyone more aware of the wonderful world we live in. Traveling gives us knowledge that cannot be taught and I think everyone should be able to gain some. Couchsurfing is helping promote this by allowing travelers to save money on accommodation in order for it to be spent on airplane tickets or other necessities. For the hosts, Couchsurfing offers the chance to help, learn, admire, guide, or any other emotions that can come from creating a connection with someone who you would not normally have met.

Interests

I love the outdoors and going adventuring. I also would follow the sun if I could. Sunshine is one of the most beautiful things in life I think. Of course, traveling is one of my passions and learning about different cultures and areas of the world.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am able to share some of my experiences to hopefully help my guests with their future endeavors. I can also offer a nice room to stay in to give travelers a sense of "home". Meals will usually be provided unless my schedule is busy during the visit.
