About Me
ABOUT ME
My husband and I just got married in May. He was a graphic designer in England and I managed a grocery store in North Carolina. We had met in Australia 3 years ago on a hiking trip and decided that we wanted to do a 3 month long cycling trip along the east coast of Australia to raise money to the benefit of local food banks for our honeymoon. We are moving to New Zealand in November.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have used it before and I love meeting locals along the way. It is a great way to keep costs down and make international friends. Plus we love sharing recipes with new friends :)
Interests
In my free time, I'm usually planning a trip, cooking, exercising, or trying new foods. I really love food and studying other languages. I speak Spanish fluently and am conversational with French and Portuguese.

Teach, Learn, Share
Jamie and I love learning any type of new skill. We are currently in Alaska babysitting our niece and nephew and learning a lot about outdoor adventure, taking care of kids, camping, and wood splitting. We would be interested in learning anything really. We love to share recipes, wine, language, and card games.
