About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to be able to rap in german (almost there!)
ABOUT ME
22 years young at the moment and living it up as much as possible. my mom always took me out for car rides and we'd just drive around until we saw something cool and i've found the same tactic works traveling around. just walking around places without a plan can sometimes be really fun because sometimes you get a good adventure out of it. traveling has always been a part of me and something i absolutely love doing and i'm very glad to share experiences with friends and family.
PHILOSOPHY
"Don't worry about the world ending today. It's already tomorrow in Australia." -Charles Schultz
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So far I've had nothing but wonderful experiences with couchsurfing! All my hosts were very kind and were great people to sit around and just have a conversation with.
I've hosted:
Ferran Ruiz from Barcelona, Spain and Brett Taylor from Portland, Oregon.
I've surfed with Kadilac Campos and Owais Tariq in Stockholm, Sweden; Torill Aas in Oslo, Norway; Pierre.Alex and Elsa Deconchat in Paris, France. Tobi_Wan in Köln (Cologne), Germany. Saskia in Frankfurt, Germany
Interests
I do love sight seeing at some point in every city i visit--you know, just so when you go back home after seeing Germany, you can say that you went to berlin or munich.
However, my favorite thing to do is just hang out with cool locals and see the city from their perspective. go to the local bar or even just go to the park and hang out there :)

Music, Movies, and Books
Absolutely love films. I can not emphasize how much i absolutely love them (except scary movies..i'm a big 'ol scaredy cat). i can watch gore movies but not thrillers.. My favorite disney movie is Finding Nemo. I have two little brothers so i watch a lot of children films. But i also love reservoir dogs, tiny furniture, taxi driver, chinatown and cloud atlas to name a few off the top of my head.
also really enjoy music. classic rock is a little more my forte but i enjoy all kinds of music from rock to techno to the good old oldies. Recently I've been listening to a lot of indie music and 60's music.
I try to read when i can but unless it is a Chuck Palahniuk book (author of fight club), it's a lot harder for me to finish a book.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My friend and I were at the Parque del Retiro in Madrid, Spain and we sat by the lake at sunset and the colors in the sky and the way it reflected in the water was breathe-taking. One of my favorite memories.
I put my hand on a comb of honey covered entirely with bees and did not get stung. I've never been stung in my life and i was terrified to do this but it was absolutely amazing. it felt like i was stroking eyelashes!
Rode an elephant in Thailand.
The eiffel tower at night when it sparkles on the hour. My breath was literally taken away when i saw that. truly a beautiful sight to see.
I'm from SoCal and snow is not something i get to see ever! On my trip to switzerland, not only was I surrounded in snow but I got to take a sleigh ride in it. Never in my life would I have thought that I would be able to ride in a horse drawn sleigh in a winter wonderland.
Teach, Learn, Share
a couple tips when traveling:
1.underwear can be used twice. outside in and inside out. handy if you're running low on a trip and don't have the money to buy a pair or the resources to wash them. I haven't had to do it yet but it's a tip i've always kept in the back of my mind in case of emergency.
2.money belts make a huge difference when traveling. if you think they look tacky, you should get one anyway.
I love to cook but my range of things to cook is still pretty limited. I'd love to learn new recipes!
I could teach you to make a hemp bracelet or teach you some spanish and/or german. :)
