ABOUT ME

I'm 24. I am Australian on a year abroad trying to squeeze as much fun into it as possible. I would call myself a fairly easy going type of person. I enjoy cooking, (eating), making things, beer, red wine and good conversation.
I love being outdoors, new experiences, and exploring remote locations. Saying that though I also enjoy the hustle and bustle of cities. I am probably happiest when I am near the ocean...
I'm interested in learning from all kinds of people how they carve out their own slices of paradise in this world.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have engaged unofficially in couchsurfing activities over a number of years now and have been lucky enough to host people from around the world in many share-houses I have lived in. I am new to the legit world of CS - but looking forward to many more positive experiences!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couchsurfed a few times now in North America. It is always a great experience, and it is always different - that is what is great about it.

Love all three.
I like so many movies I wouldn't even know where to start..
As for music I love the old timers like Chuck Berry, Little Richard, Elvis and Johnny Cash and all things Motown. That said though I love lots of new stuff... Florence & the Machine, Mumford & Sons, The Strokes, Michael Franti, Fleet Foxes, Arcade Fire... etc...
Books...Catch 22, A Short History of Nearly Everything, Life of Pi, The Book Thief.. to name a few. War and Peace is keeping me busy right now.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Working for 2 months in the Alaskan wilderness calling a tent my home, salmon my companions and grizzlies my neighbours. An exhilarating and refreshing experience.
