I am an american student currently studying abroad for the fall term! I am originally from Virginia but go to school in upstate new york. I study acting and am loving the theatre I'm seeing in London. I love traveling, culture and people so I'm hoping to get out of the city and see Europe through couch surfing. I also love dogs, am allergic to cats, adore cheese, and am very friendly and respectful!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I wont have another opportunity to be close enough to so many countries for a long time. I'd like to take advantage of being abroad by experiencing other cultures.

Interests

I am studying Drama so I'm interested in movies and theatre as well as music and art! I really enjoy roaming around and getting lost somewhere, and settling in a park or cafe to read or write. I also love to dance, I'm not very good at it but I do it anyway :)

Music, Movies, and Books

my tastes are pretty wide spread, for must I like 80's hits, laura marling, otis redding, kanye west, and regina spektor. Haven't seen many movies recently but I love "what ever happened to baby jane", Philadelphia, the grand Budapest Hotel, and Bridget Jones. As far as books go Jane eyre, between the world and me, and various poetry.

I was in a show at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival this summer, it was madness and so much fun!

I took a fews years of french but I am not very good at speaking it. I would love to pick up sayings and words in other languages and could practice help you practice english if your learning!
