One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Delivered several babies and assisted in many cesarean sections and other surgeries. I've responded in emergency situations with my fantastic CPR and ACLS skills, (I remember one elderly gentleman in the ER who suddenly regained consciousness while I was performing compressions and said "ah shit!" We actually resuscitated him twice and it was mind-blowing.) I've intubated several people in the ER and OR. I've had to suture and pack many wounds. I've worked on an inpatient psych ward. I volunteered in Nicaragua on a medical mission trip in 2016 and saw some amazing things and met some of the most resilient and friendliest people. I've flown an airplane for a couple of minutes. I've been paragliding (after a few lessons and a written exam I was able to do 3 solo flights).

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach a lot about medicine since it's sort of been my life for the last four years.

I'm terrible at history and would like to learn more about the history of Italy and the significance of the artwork there. Also would like to practice my Italian with someone other than Rosetta Stone.
