Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am looking for more of a local angle on visiting a new place while traveling. I've met several travelers who have had amazing experiences within the couch surfing community. After hearing their stories, I wanted to give it a shot.

Interests

I live in one of the most active states in the US. Likewise, I do a lot outdoors like snowboarding, camping, and climbing mountains. I'm a bit of an adrenaline junkie, so I won't say no to jumping out of an airplane, hang gliding, or repelling down the side of a cliff.

I love music. I love art. I love to dance.

I work for myself and I'm usually learning something related to internet marketing and marketing for small businesses.

Books: Shantaram, Pillars of the Earth, and I read a lot of stuff on business and life.

Music: Mostly electronic and indie.

Movies: I saw Wild recently and completely related to it

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Only one!?! In the past year, I've been the most courageous I've ever been. I've left jobs that made me miserable to take a shot at self employment and somehow I've been able to create the freedom I've craved for years. I also traveled by myself for the first time ever and LOVED it.

What I Can Share with Hosts

If you have a small business, I can teach you loads. I'll share yummy recipes. I'll share stories of travel and conversations about life. If you like to workout, I competed for year and can probably share some meat head advice.
