Hello! I'm from the United States and try to visit 1-2 countries per year. I've been learning Portuguese since 2018, so a lot of my travel revolves around that.

When traveling (and also at home), I like a mix of nature and cultural activities. I love learning and experiencing new things.

I drink socially but am not into the late-night bar/club scene. Otherwise, I'm up for trying most things!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love lots of different types of music, but my favorites include jazz and various genres of Brazilian music. For movies and TV, I enjoy comedies, musicals, and documentaries. I tend to listen to narrative nonfiction audiobooks.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My favorite travel memory was translating Portuguese into English for a German family while on the Argentinian side of Iguaçu Falls. It was just as cool to me as the amazing waterfalls!
