Overview
About Me
Hello!! I'm Allison (or Alli)! I've been in Korea since June 2014, teaching ESL. I've had a wonderful time here and also on the vacations that I've been able to take during my stay here. I like to be active and am almost always down for an adventure. I can be happy in a group or by myself. I don't care much for small talk unless it will lead to deeper conversation.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I plan on going to Europe in the summer of 2016 and I don't want to have a new profile with no references or hosting experience when that happens.
Interests
Outdoorsy activities, writing poetry, playing soccer, traveling of course, psychology, cultures, traditions, eating new foods, and spending time building and nurturing friendships.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies- mainly comedies or coming of age stories. (Hot Rod, Spectacular Now, Ferris Bueller, Star Wars)
Music- indie, house, hiphop, basically every sort except never been into country.
Books- Chasing The Scream, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, don't honestly read too much
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I try to maintain an attitude of gratitude (rhyme unintended) for my life. So, not to sound all hippy or whatever, but it's hard for me to answer this because I don't know that I deserve the credit.
But I suppose that I can take credit for having graduated Summa Cum Laude from my University.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm interested in learning local things, where ever I may go.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can teach English of course. I am patient and encouraging. I can share my puns, cheesy jokes, and cheeky banter.
Countries I’ve Visited
Canada, Hong Kong, Japan, Macao, Mexico, South Korea, Spain, Taiwan, Thailand
Countries I’ve Lived In
South Korea, United States
