Hey, I'm Allison!

Originally from Georgia (US), I now live in Sydney for my job.

Outside of work, I love exploring all life has to offer: surfing, Krav Maga, volleyball, backpacking, writing – you name it I’m game. I love sports, hiking, and a bit of adrenaline in the things I do, and am a nerd for ecotourism, action sports, and crisis management. Those who know me say I'm quiet, but my closest friends know me to be silly and a little mischievous. I love to laugh, and I think traveling is a great reminder to be humble and to not take ourselves too seriously.

In college, I worked in Patagonia, Chile where I realized a passion for travel and the freedom found in traveling frugally. I prefer backpacking to luxury travel and I'm always keen on an adventure and observing local culture.
