Tiny home dweller and minimalist. Currently living beneath the cedar trees on a communal farm property here in the Cowichan Valley on Vancouver Island.

I always wanted to road trip across Canada, so a year ago, I made the decision to relocate to Van Island from the exact opposite side of the country. I packed the things that bring the most joy into my tiny car and embarked on the 8,000 km adventure. I couldn't have driven any further from my birthplace on the East Coast, and people thought I was bananas for driving across this vast and wild country in the dead of winter! But hey, I made it and it was awesome! Canada is super rad!

I was born and raised on the most easterly island of Canada called, Newfoundland - a very unique place renown for it's colorful jellybean houses, rugged coastline, charming rural communities, often challenging weather and home to the friendliest people in the world! Look it up - if you haven't been there already it will no doubt end up on your destination bucket list!

I inherited the nomadic gene from my momma - She's currently living on a little sailboat and travelling the world. I join her on ocean adventures whenever I can; like a month long sail around the beautiful islands of Fiji!

I have a wicked passion and appreciation for food. One of my favourite activities when travelling is being able to cook and share meals with new pals.

I live to roam, adventure outdoors and meet new people and I'm just as happy to offer my couch as I am to surf on yours! I look forward to meeting you and sharing couches, stories, laughter and adventures together.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My intense fear of flying does not pair well with my desire to travel - I'm pretty amazed every time I hop on a plane and live to tell the tale. So, the most amazing thing I've done in my mind, is to have flown to the other side of the world and back, not once, but TWICE! Oh and to have joined the local AIR search and rescue team hahah
