My name is Allison and I am a 25-year-old English Teacher and Masters student living in Berlin, Germany. I am American but I haven't lived in the US in nearly 2 years. Living the expat life to the fullest. I love traveling to new places and meeting new people. I can say hello and thank you in Thai, Spanish, Italian, German, and Dutch.
I have a degree in art history so one of my favorite things is to explore a city's art scene and wander to take in the art collection.
I like to try new things and I have a policy to always say yes while traveling (within reason ;)).

I grew up on Elton John but I'm easygoing about music. I like anything with a good beat.
I love a good indy, romcom, and my guilty pleasure is anything with superheroes and Marvel.
I will buy any book about travel: memoirs, fiction, etc.

I got to swim with an elephant in a waterfall in Thailand.
Don't worry, it was a real sanctuary; no riding, only feeding, bathing, and walking. It was amazing, and then a nice Thai woman showed me how to make a Thai scarf.
