About Me

I love to travel and meet new people. I love outdoors and nature, animals, kids, movies and reading and am a relaxed respectful person. Looking to get to know other travelers and make friends as I travel solo!
I enjoy hiking and camping, and exploring with or without a plan. Sometimes the best things happen spontaneously, and otherwise you learn from the mistakes.
I've been spending the last year volunteering in disaster relief in the US in hurricane affected areas helping folks recover their homes from the damage, and also in Mexico this past spring for 3 months helping rebuild schools damaged in earthquakes.
My year of volunteering is ending in a summer ramble around Scotland and other tbd parts of Europe before I go back to the states and settle in again.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've traveled a lot of Europe, the Middle East, and some of Asia and would love to keep meeting great people around the world either by staying with them or having them as a guest when I'm home in Boston!
We're a global community and I've always loved getting to know new people and helping others as I've been helped- pay it forward!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music wise I love everything from classic rock to indie alternative to pop. I like international movies and independent films as well as comedies, dramas, and documentaries. I always have a book with me and read a variety of international fiction, sci fi, classic literature, non-fiction, and biography.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am a certified sawyer and can help clear downed trees and debris in post hurricane zones thanks to my time volunteering with All Hands and Hearts this past year!

Teach, Learn, Share

As far as learning I'd love to learn from hosts or visitors, looking to improve my Spanish, cooking, and outdoorsy skills. If I host you in Boston, I'm happy to share my hometown with you and show you around or just share a nice meal and be a good host.

What I Can Share with Hosts

English language, trading travel tips and stories, cooking up a great dinner or breakfast, helping with cleaning, chores, or home repairs if you need!

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Dominican Republic, England, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Italy, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Puerto Rico, Scotland, Slovakia, South Korea

Countries I’ve Lived In

Cyprus, Mexico, South Korea, United States
