My name is Allison and I'm from Santiago, Chile. I finished my undergraduate in English Literature and Linguistics and I'm now in Helsinki getting my Masters! :D

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I found Couchsurfing through my boyfriend who has been a member for a long time (https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/michal.majer).

I love the spirit behind this project and I'm hoping I'll get to meet people who share the same friendly spirit.

I love learning about languages and different cultures.
Even though I enjoy travelling, hiking and all kinds of outdoor adventures, I equally enjoy staying at home, watching movies and binge eating :D

I love everything from Top 40s, bestsellers, and blockbusters, to alternative music, obscure novels, and artsy films.
Fantasy & Sci-Fi are my favorite genres for movies and books but as Lit major, I also love the classics like Austen, Dickens, and Shakespeare.
I'm a big fan of Jon Stewart, the Daily Show and all the shows from the former correspondents.
My favorite things in life are: The Lord of the Rings in any of its formats and Seinfeld.
BIG Broadway fan!! I love to watch and talk about musicals. I'm always open to an impromptu singalong session! I'm a RENThead to the bone!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Roadtrip across the USA from coast to coast! A broken car, a deadly scorpion, and a suicide jumper are some of the things that really make a trip memorable!
