I'd like to learn everything possible about different cultures. What people take pride in, what people have a harder time discussing, what makes cultures similar and different.

I will be traveling abroad for a year through the Watson Fellowship, from July 2017 to 2018. The fellowship also gives me quite a bit of free time to experience each city or location as fully as possible. I'm hoping to challenge the ideas I've been brought up with and soak in every perspective possible!

I would like to live and learn from locals! CS is a gateway to doing different things with different people compared to my normal day-to-day. It means weird food and smells and so many unpredictable experiences. I like that living with people let's you get to know them in a way that social outings don't. Currently looking to surf, hoping to host in the future.
