ABOUT ME
I just graduated from college (majoring in literature and art because, clearly, I place no value on future employability), and am spending the summer traveling around Europe with family and then friends. I'm very relaxed and easygoing, and am trying to try everything! I am happy going out and being adventurous or relaxing and talking to people, although I do tend to be more awake at night than early in the morning. Also, I play a mean game of Taboo.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I couchsurfed for the first time last year, while traveling around South America during the semester I was studying in Buenos Aires and had nothing but amazing, fun experiences with fantastic people. I have only lived in my parents house and dorm rooms up until now, but when I get home and (cross your fingers for luck) find a job and place to live, I'm excited to be able to host couchsurfers as well!
Interests
Books, art, museums, and all kinds of dorky things. I like going out, staying in, and hot chocolate. Hiking, swimming, and other outdoorsy activities. Yoga, even though I'm the most inflexible person ever. Coffee. Games. Printmaking. Talking. Laughing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I'm writing this in Turkey, having spent the week looking at some of the most beautiful buildings I've ever seen and being totally amazed that these mosques were built centuries ago using techniques that we can't even employ in contemporary times (like a building mixture that repels bugs and unbeatable natural air conditioning). In terms of natural beauty though, nothing I've seen so far rivals Bariloche in Argentina.
