My current mission is to break down the social structures that we are so engrained to abide by

ABOUT ME

I am a 24 year old who is passionate about social and food justice. I love to dance- it keeps me from going insane. I grew up in Colorado Springs, CO and moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in dance. I then moved to Boulder, CO to go to school at the University of Colorado at Boulder. I know live in Boulder dancing and working for a local non-profit called Boulder Food Rescue and love my life here, but would prefer to live in a more diverse city.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is to show up. Sometimes this is definitely not easy and I meet whatever it is with resistance, but I know if I show up any way I will continue to grow. I believe in uncovering the untruths we create about ourselves and our reality and constantly questioning this. That being said, I also work on self care, so I like to find a balance. I do this by laughing and having a good time with the people I am around.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

At my current house, we have hosted many couch surfers most of whom have been awesome! I really love when couch surfers end up staying in this town and become part of the community, but also enjoy having friends all across the world.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to learn Spanish. I have minimally tried to, but am really interested in being fluent in Spanish. I definitely could teach folks how to dance (ballet, jazz, hip hop) as well as knowledge about Philosophy (although this, in the broad scope is minimal!).
