ABOUT ME

I studied abroad in 2013, and I've definitely caught a life long desire to travel - to see the world in its varied states, to appreciate different cultures and ways of life. I consider myself kind and willing to learn and grow, but I honestly need to shake myself out of practicality sometimes! I am a considerate person, and I would aim to be a very considerate guest. I also look forward to interacting with and learning from any hosts.

I currently only travel, but my roommates and I intend to host couchsurfers in the fall.

None yet, but I've heard very positive experiences from my close friends!

Interests

All kinds of media types, including film and literature, and trying to be a good global citizen (aim big). I also wouldn't say no to a banana nutella crepe.

Music, Movies, and Books

Jane Austen, superhero movies, Kanye West, Beyonce, Sufjan Stevens, Vampire Weekend, Wes Anderson (the list goes on and on...) I've recently been watching a ton of The Americans, and I'm really looking forward to Atomic Blonde coming out.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've seen some wonderful sites so far, but I ended up at a table in Rome with some friends I had just made in a restaurant their friend ran. Wine was flowing and I ordered a massive dessert - which is true happiness.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love comparing cultures and life experiences. I'm also pretty great at baking! (add chocolate and then more chocolate)
