Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I was able to take a month-long solo trip out West two summers ago and was at that point fully immersed in the art of Couchsurfing! I just love how there are so many awesome people out there that if you take the time to reach out of your bubble, you might just be surprised at what you find!

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Four years ago I somehow acquired a passport in 8 days time and was on my first flight ever - to Slovakia - by myself. I didn't know the person I would be staying with, or even what I would be doing there. However, for the month I was there, I wound up teaching English and doing Sports Camps with inner city kids, traveled to 3 castles, was able to go to Budapest, Vienna, and see Amsterdam on the way home.

I still have no idea what I was thinking when I did it, but I'm so glad I did.
