About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to explore the world...
ABOUT ME
I am a Californian who has found myself in Midwest, loving the thunder storms and changes in season! I love learning in the classroom and all over the world. Passionate about cooking, volleyball, psychology, eating locally/sustainably, pilates/yoga, reading, exploring new places, and meeting new people. Other interests may include: the beach, fresh air, jasmine green tea, jazz music, reading, gardening, red wine, dancing...and of course traveling.
PHILOSOPHY
"You have to be the change you want to see in the world."
-Ghandi
"We immediately become more effective when we decide to change ourselves rather than asking things to change for us." --Stephen Covey
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have made many new friends all over the world and learned about new areas from the locals who know it best. I would also love to meet more new people who want to explore my current neck of the woods.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Most of our best travel experiences involved the amazing people I met on the road...enjoying a traditional holiday dinner in Zurich, Switzerland, touring Barcelona for the best tapas and sangria, learning about the local flavor in Ensenada, the entertaining stories of the street vendors in Montezuma, and learning about the rich history of Boston from those who know it best...
Interests
Beaches, going new places, snow, plants, animals, research, cooking international cuisine, photography, pilates, cities, the London tube, smelling things, baking bread, laughing, reading non-fiction, summer rain, fresh seasonal veggies, volleyball...
