I like writing. I like doing stuff. So I think I would REALLY like writing about doing stuff...

ABOUT ME

Gee, I feel compelled to put something here that is more like "in-depth" than the ridiculousness-for-the-sake-of-ridiculousness that I put on my Myspace. But I guess that may be a good thing to point out - I am a complete smartass. I have a job that lets me get away with it, too. That pretty much rules. I could get a job that pays more, but I would have to behave and I value being able to be myself more than money or material things. It makes it worth getting up in the morning. I call the CTO "dude." People are in awe that he does nothing about it.

I guess you could say I love my job. And I love my friends. And I love doing stuff. Basically, I love being in motion. I am kinda high-strung, but not in a stress-inducing way. I just live with a sense of urgency. Kinda like Kramer on Seinfeld. I know how to chill, though, and am actually very quiet until I am comfortable around people. And if people are not as high energy as I am, I can (and do) acclimate myself. But I will still say smartass comments :)

Mostly I have only crashed with people I know that live in different places. But I want to branch out and meet people.

Intereses

Coming up with random conspiracy theories (see my answer in the "books" section. Yeah. I made that up...) Experiencing life in general - which I am just now getting around to (at least in the realm of "traveling"). My adolescent sense of immortality helps me in this endeavor.

Música, películas y libros

I am especially drawn to punk and ska, but like lots of other music. Not so much death metal, rap or country, though.

Movies I am all over the place, except chick flicks. I cannot stand chick flicks. I own everything ever created by Monty Python.

Books are also all over - I really like non-fiction, philosophy-based books that offer a unique perspective. I have my own belief system, but will welcome any opinion as long as it is presented in a logical argument. A theory could be a obtuse as "Aliens are really ancient Atlantians who mastered space and time travel and come back to earth occasionally to mess with rednecks because they find it amusing." As long as there is SOME evidence, I will give it consideration.

I also like Ayn Rand. And Dave Barry.

I own a one-of-a-kind, life-size statue of the Tick.

I have hiked on the Na Pali trail.

Dammit. That's 2. Hmmmm....maybe I could go BACK to the Na Pali and hike WITH my life-size statue of the Tick, thus consolidating these two things.

Of course, in a month, I will delete both of those and put "Found the bus that Christopher McCandless (dude from "Into the Wild") lived and died in."
