Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have stayed with a few people through couch surfing and the people I have met truly enriched my time traveling. I have hosted a few times also and it went pretty well also. I have had all positive experiences thus far.

Interests

I enjoy intelligent conversation, playing/writing music, swimming, snorkeling, surfing, scuba diving,hiking, camping, bicycling, dancing, yoga, trying new beers and wines, cooking & trying new food, making art, community volunteering, being around and encouraging children. But most of all I'm desperately and madly in love with the ocean!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music I play the guitar and ukulele and I will try to play any instrument put in front of me. If you are a musician and you stay with me we will have to make time to jam. I have a very eclectic taste in music the only music i have a distaste for is music that is disrespectful in regard to gender/race/ability/psycal apperance etc. I'm all about love and acceptance. Some of my favorite artists are justice, gnarls barkley, stevie wonder, wax taylor, bob marley, cream, robin trower, bone doggy and the hickory street hell raisers, deadboy the list goes on and on.
My favorite books are science fiction and distopian novels reading Brave new world changed my whole outlook on popular media and consumer culture. My favorite writer is Dan Simmons.
I'm not the biggest fan of movies, but I can go for a romantic comedy or a satire now and then.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In Ruidoso New Mexico a young black bear walked down the street right infront of the house where I was surfing, in the middle of town. The bear jumped into a dumpster at the corrner and rummaged around, then went on its way. It an amazing thing to see!

What I Can Share with Hosts

If you host me I would love to cook a meal for us. I am more than willing to help out with any house or yard work. I will probably try to do your dishes... this doesn't mean i think your a bad housekeeper i just want to pull my weight. so if that's a problem let me know before hand. If i have a guitar available and you care to listen I'll play you some music and be thrilled if you join in.
