About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Figuring out my next adventure, and adventuring in the process
ABOUT ME
About a year ago I graduated from Berkeley with a degree in European History. I had a passion for what I studied, and absolutely loved the four amazing, crazy, off the wall years I spent at Cal. Upon graduation, I was left wondering what was next. After six months spent partying in SF and working the bar at a winery, I decided I needed to get out. I traveled for five months in SE Asia and found my thirst for travel unending. So, I moved to Thailand and am now one of the resident Farang of my University town in Chachoengsao. My friends might describe me as outgoing, bouncy, and only slightly neurotic. I might describe myself as passionate about the people I love, easily excitable, and true to myself through and through.
PHILOSOPHY
Do good and good will come to you. Be happy and happy will come to you. It's, honestly, all about the type of energy you put out in the world (in the least new agey way as is possible). Also NEVER stop wondering what is out there...because there is just SO much.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It's incredibly hard to pick one thing out of all the amazing beautiful experiences I've been lucky enough to have. If I did have to pick something that encapsulates it all it would be my journey to the Kong Lor cave in central Laos. From the crazy local bus ride, to the 6 hours spent in the back of a pickup with 20 Laotians, to finally making it to the cave, hours before it closed, and journeying into the blackness and stillness that is a 7km long cave. It was an amazing, rewarding adventure that I didn't know if I would get through alive, but watching the sunset over the river valley as our boat made it back to the cave shore was breathtaking and awe inspiring. Laos, in general, is one of the most amazing places that I can imagine exists.
Teach, Learn, Share
I want to learn how to let go more; let go of my need to plan, let go of my need to know everything, let go of my grasp on the future.
I'm not quite sure what I can teach and share, but I LOVE history and random trivia (jeopardy is an ALL TIME fave) and I love getting in weird conversations about random facts. We can ALL learn from each other that way, even if the conversation ends in googling!!!!
