I watched a Taiwanese film where the female protagonist is a CS surfer, who has met wonderful people during hosting surfers. The story also led me recall my exchange student year, I had so much endearing memories from that time with all my friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movie: Inception (which should win at least three major awards instead of one) and Christopher Nolan's other work. Japanese films. Animation. Tsui Hark. Wong Kai Wai films with Leslie Cheung in it. Semih Kaplanoglu. Jiangwen. Chickflicks when I am in a low mood.

Music: well I find all my favorite music from movie soundtracks, except for Jazz. Trying to expose myself to classical now, it seems to be a pleasant journey.

Books: where do I start. Strangely, I am very fond of boring academic books. Fairytale for kids. Also writers who are in love with their cities. Chinese female writers from all over the world. Stories about immigration lives, and stories/essays on dream, fantasy. Practical books such as travel guides, cooking books are also my cup of tea. Come to my place, you'll see what I am reading.
