ABOUT ME

I'm a 28-year-old lady currently living in Ohio with my cat, Groucho. My main interest right now is film; I love film history and theory. I am also an avid reader. As I'm not in school at this point, I'm trying to fill my brain with as much non-academic stuff as possible. I like riding bikes, eating good food, drinking wine, and exploring new places. I'm really interested in traveling and learning more about the world around me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

In 2014, I successfully traveled through 7 European countries thanks to Couchsurfing! I had the time of my life. Since then, I have hosted a bit, but I would like to host more in the future when I'm able.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My roommate and I visited Milwaukee, WI in 2013 and stayed with some really cool guys. They were welcoming and friendly, and had plenty of great suggestions for our activities and meals there. They definitely exceeded our expectations and we all had a great time.

Then when I traveled alone in 2014, I used Couchsurfing to stay with some really cool women in Helsinki, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Berlin, Prague, Vienna, and Budapest. It was an unforgettable experience.

Music: Ethiopian jazz, soundtracks to 1970's Italian exploitation cinema, post punk, soul.
