About Me

Born in the Philippines, I was raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. I love meeting new people and having conversations with them over drinks, especially about topics on history and politics. I've lived in Kyoto and Tokyo, Japan, for a study-abroad program and an internship, and have also lived in Oxford, England for another study-abroad program. Most recently, I was living in Denver, Colorado, to work, ironically, for a company in the San Francisco Bay Area. However, I've decided to leave that all behind to pursue different interests and travel abroad for at least six months.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people and sharing experiences with them. CS is a great way for me to achieve this, so that I can better absorb the culture of a foreign country. I have had the experience of doing a homestay before and, needless to say, would like to do so again. Most definitely, if you are hosting me, I'd like to go have drinks at a bar with you sometime.
