I've done some couchsurfing before and am introducing Lyndal to the experience... that's why the comments and so on relate to me below...
Am relaxed guy with oblique sense of humour and occasional cooking skills. I organize locations for film shoots of all descriptions back in Australia and am a creative type with a hankering to make photographs...

... and Hi! I'm Lyndal and pretty curious about this whole couch surfing thing. I'm pretty relaxed, slightly cheeky and love a good belly laugh. Which I guess, explains why I'm a children's TV producer...

John: Films: Kubrick, Lynch, Haneke, PT Anderson and a range of other cinema... 'Children of Men' was great... I wrote reviews for a local mag a few years back... Music: 80's and new electronic... Books: White, Coetzee, I'm a grazer these days though and need to knuckle down and get my teeth sunk in to some great books on this next trip.
