ABOUT ME
I'm a web developer and writer living in Ann Arbor, MI. I love traveling (favorite places so far: Spain, Italy, and southern Switzerland) and am saving up money for my next trip (South America, maybe?).
My current mission is to speak Spanish as much as possible. If you are in the Ann Arbor area and want to converse over coffee, let me know!
PHILOSOPHY
I just heard this quote from a friend: "you can do anything you want to do, but you can't do everything you want to do".
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I unfortunately can't host right now, but I would love to grab coffee if you're in Ann Arbor. I'm happy to help out with travel questions if you're going anywhere in Michigan, as well.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
A few years back I decided to travel around Europe after living in Spain for 5 months. I didn't have a lot of money and was traveling by myself, so I decided to CouchSurf as much as possible. I ended up traveling to Italy, Romania, Switzerland, Finland, Norway, and about half a day in London.
Interests
Writing, reading books (especially Fantasy), watching movies, drawing, traveling, singing, playing guitar, speaking Spanish, scuba diving, philosophical discussions, etc.

Movies: Lord of the Rings (of course), The Patriot, Gone in 60 Seconds
Books: The Hobbit, Chronicles of Prydain, True Confession s of Charlotte Doyle
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
While living in Spain I took a weekend trip to Morocco with a friend... it was completely different from any place I've ever been before. I am now seriously considering trying to travel farther south in Africa, and possibly India, at some point in my life, upon the recommendations of several people I met while there. It was also eye-opening to see first-hand the conditions of life they face every day, and makes me want to do something about it.
Teach, Learn, Share
I used to think the best way to travel was to not plan anything out, and just go. I wanted the freedom to change plans if I liked certain places more than others. However, it's so much less stressful to have a plan, so it's probably best to strike a balance.
Countries I’ve Visited
Australia, France, Italy, Morocco, New Zealand
