Originally from Nebraska, but I currently live in Denver, CO. I recently took a leap of faith and quit my corporate job to pursue a life of travel and photography. I will always value an authentic experience spent alongside amazing people vs. 5 star hotel living. 我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I'll be setting out on my most epic adventure yet starting at the end of January. Countless countries with what I consider to contain countless opportunities to meet people from around the world. Hopefully I leave with a new outlook and can in return, influence others on my journey.

This will be my first experience with Couch Surfing, but I feel it is important to mention that I am in no way looking to date or "hook up." I simply want to meet new people and make long-lasting friendships :)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I took a bike tour of the back country of Ubud, Bali. While on the route, I stopped at a local school where I was invited to sit in on class and teach a little English. Later, my guide invited me to his home where his family created a beautiful meal that we were all able to share together. No matter the culture and language gap, it was the most amazing experience to be so welcomed and it's a feeling I'll never forget.
