Bonjour !

My name is Adeline, I'm a 32 year-old French girl.

I got the travel bug when I was nineteen, left France for Australia and ended up staying for two years.
When I went back to my Hometown (Strasbourg) I got bored after a couple of month -unexpectedly- and decided to go to live in Germany, in Leipzig and in Berlin, where I stayed for a bit more than 2 years.

After my studies I lived in Latin America for 1 and a half years (Colombia and Mexico).

I have a double-Bachelor in History and History of art and a masters degree in Project management.

I'm a very energetic person, always keen to go out and do things, discovering the world is my passion.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Well, going to touristic spots, take pictures and go home is not traveling.

I have the chance (it was hard though) to speak 4 languages, I want to get in touch with the people of the country I'm traveling into, and CS is the best for that.

Music, Movies, and Books

I will start to answer with movies, because I'm a cinephile. I really like drama movies who make me cry at the end (but hate cheezy movies though). The Hacksaw Redemption or The Pianist are two really good ones.
I also like comedies or classic movies: Pulp Fiction, Blow up, Life is beautiful, the Cherbourg Umbrellas...

For books I have to admit that my favorite is French literature. Baudelaire, Alexandre Dumas, Flaubert, Boris Vian. I also really like Paulo Coelho and Kundera.

About music... I listen to a lot of different types of music ! From electro to hip hop to rock (I love Queen!).
Aaaaand since I lived in South America I LOVE Reggaton and salsa !

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

No, seriously, I think THE one amazing thing I've done is to go to Australia just after high school.
I was nineteen, naive, broke (left with a one way ticket and 500 euros), couldn't speak English, never worked before, didn't know anything about life, but I've done it.
And it changed my life forever, I wouldn't be where I am today if I wouldn't have made this decision.
