Born on the Bayou. Hit the ground running. New Orleans is in my blood. A motto of many: Dance. Just dance, ok? It will save you from your demons. I love a good Cajun band and need to be around water.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Had dinner with three people from couch surfing in Boston. Amazing! Looked on the website for New Orleans and realized I knew a lot of people on it already. I am a couch baby with room to grow.

Music, Movies, and Books

Hmmm...complicated. Music to move to or sing to. Movies that put you in a post-movie-can't-stop-thinking-about-it trance. Books. I like books in general. From your sophisticated Homer to a modern dirty cowboy novel.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I rode a Mongolian horse across a plain next to a frozen lake. The horsemaster joked we couldn't ride, so a friend and I, after a knowing glance, slapped our horses' rears and took off. He was so small in the distance as we raced and I was riding so hard the reigns broke. I had the horse by the mane and kept galloping. There was ice covering the inside my fleece face warmer. It was one of the most amazing moments of my life.
