ABOUT ME
On the 26th July 2010 I left Scotland and set off on a Trans Siberian adventure...
In south east China when I eventually pulled my finger out and signed up to couch surfing.
The rough plan is to be in Australia by late January 2011 for vino season...
who knows where I'll end up inbetween...or after, for that matter.
JUNE 2011 UPDATE:
ok...so i made it to oz at the end of january 2011....straight into south ozland....and straight to work!
worked long enough to get 2nd yr on the visa and hopefully get back on the road soon!
PHILOSOPHY
I know that I know nothing.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Not heard a huge amount about it till I started travelling this year....talk about it now with almost everyone I meet whilst travelling.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
July 2010 was the beginning of my first serious travel adventures...
Met a lot of Couch Surfers along the way so thought it was about time I got involved.

Music, Movies, and Books
Love my music...any genre that involves a guitar I'm sure to like some of it...although occasionally quite partial to some decent dance and chill out music.
I'd rather you didn't play so called 'r&b' music in my presence, although I do quite like rhythm and blues.
Managed to find a cinema showing english spoken films, no matter where I get...Inception is amazing.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
mmm...this trip has been pretty amazing so far, for so many reasons...
but when I was younger was invited to 10 downing street with family, for 'tea and cakes', to meet Tony Blair and wife when he was PM which was pretty cool.
Teach, Learn, Share
If you ever visit Scotland you must get out of the cities...
So many people come and never get past Edinburgh!
Hire a car and travel up the west coast all the way to Durness, catch the train to the Isle of Skye on the 'West Highland Line' or visit Speyside for the marathon that is 'The Malt Whisky Trail'
