ABOUT ME

After a looong 7.5 years in post-secondary education in the arts, I got antsy and anxious to open myself up to other cultures, techniques, and artistry around the world.. I took off to Australia for a year and a half, did the festival circuits, worked in the arts, and did some sole trader shiz. Aside from that big trip, I go on mini-vacations regularly to keep myself fresh and inspired.. the gulf islands, the oregon coast, the kootenay mountain ranges - I love nature, it's my biggest source of inspiration.

I'm a calm individual but very personable with anyone/everyone I meet.. you'll win me over with a hookah and a good conversation.

I have different sized-pupils (makes for great night-vision), I can heal headaches, my favourite colour is green, and I'm almost done my fight with breast cancer.

PHILOSOPHY

I make choices based on how resilient I think I can be, and how much fear I can overcome. I constantly look for a challenge, something that scares and excites me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Amazing generosity from so many people during our trip from Vancouver BC to Phoenix AZ... we got a rideshare through couchsurfing taking us the WHOLE WAY! Stayed with many beautiful people and saw many beautiful things... without couchsurfing we would have been stuck on the greyhound for 3 days straight seeing no amazing sights or meeting any amazing people. Gratitude!

Interests

Running water! Animals, visual arts.. contemporary technology fused with visual arts, PHOTOGRAPHY, shisha, natural landscapes, finding new music, firespinning, experimental cooking, talking to people who have something to teach you, talking to people who make you laugh, talking to people who make you curious, getting to know your own capacities, trying something new, making things (clothing shoes decorations jewelry furniture paintings collages mix cds photo albums lanterns really good tea!)
