Recently? I hiked all over Machu Picchu and ran down the steps back to town. A hike down from Machu Picchu to Aguas Calientes that was suppose to take 1.5 hours only took about 30 minutes. Once I started running down the stairs, there was no stopping. When I stopped, my legs wobbled and nearly gave out!
