ABOUT ME

I'm Ally, together with my partner Alex, we are freelance marketers getting to explore this beautiful world while working remotely. We are energetic and love the outdoors. We love spending a good bit of our trips trekking or camping. We also have a passion for sustainability and green living, and have spent time on some biodynamic farms, and would love to keep learning more.

We are currently stationed in Portland, but traveling to 7 countries this year!!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We've both done a lot of surfing in the past and it's saved my ass. Right now I'm in PDX and I know how much this community has meant to me, so I want to give back- via my floor!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've just started CS in South America and it has been a really great experience, then managed to use it a bit in Asia, Europe, US, and Mexico (woah!) Now off to use it in UK

I love to read, hike, explore, laugh, meet new people, sing badly, have a few drinks, wake up early and if it happeneds all in one day the better!

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Ok so books: I like Whitman, Garcia Marquez, Steinbeck, Rushdie, McCarthy, Kundera, Krishnamurti, lots and lots more. Movies I like most. Almodovar is my favorite director and I like films that make me question. Then again I'm always up for Zoolander!

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

One of the most amazing things I´ve done was trekking the Annapurna Circuit. It was beautiful, difficult, and awe inspiring.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I´m interested in learning Spanish better, so I´m trying to stay with people who can aid me in that department. As far as teaching goes, I love to cook, and would love to help anyone learn to cook as well.
