ABOUT ME

Hello fellow adventurists!
I consider myself to be a flexible and relaxed lady who is always in search of the next adventure, good cup of coffee and irresistible book.

I'm planning to travel through Vietnam and possibly other countries in SouthEast Asia to escape the Alaskan winter for a few weeks. I currently work in hospitals as a Speech Pathologist in Anchorage, Alaska. I no longer live in Washington DC, though my profile still mentions DC as my place of residence.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have co-hosted with my previous roommate in Anchorage, AK. My roomie broke me into the couch surfing scene by co-hosting folks from many different countries who were passing through Anchorage. I have couchsurfed as a guest in Denver, Paris, and various cities in Spain.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
As I mentioned above, I've had more experience hosting vs. surfing, but hosting has definitely taught me a few things about being an awesome guest. Simple things like cleaning up after yourself and making time to swap a few stories go a long way when traveling in this fashion!
