Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To live freely, to discover, to experience life among familiar strangers.
ABOUT ME
I am merely a student, and unofficially everything else. // I recently graduated from college and now I'm living the post-grad life full of voids and spontaneity. I spend my time traveling and experiencing new adventures, books, movies, and music as much as possible. I can't get enough of meeting new people and comparing lifestyles. It's amazing how similar we all really are in the world.
PHILOSOPHY
Knowledge is what will propel us, and it can be found within intuition and experience. We must allow ourselves true freedom, in order to know ourselves, and in order to live in a better world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I enjoy showing others around my town, including northwest Georgia / Atlanta. I'm also very interested in taking a roadtrip up the U.S. East Coast, and CS would allow for that, financially/interestingly.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've hosted several times outside of CS and only a few times through the website. I love how Couchsurfing allows us to connect with people through traveling, and helps save money as well.
Interests
I am interested in learning others, discovering new places, and going on adventures.

Music, Movies, and Books
dredg, Sam Smith, Portugal. the Man, Arcade Fire, The Chariot, O'Brother, Fleet Foxes, Anathallo, Band of Horses, Beach House, Grizzly Bear, Kanye West, The Carpenters, Animal Collective, TI, Bury Your Dead, Andrew Bird, Manchester Orchestra, Emmure, All Get Out, Styx //
Kurt Vonnegut, Borges, Bukowski, and nonfiction books.//
I'm a movie buff... I have a rare appreciation for M Night Shyamalan but don't let that deter you. Gone with the Wind is still my all time favorite movie as it showcases perseverance and women's empowerment in times of hopelessness. Like everyone else, I love indie films and documentaries.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
1. Played scrabble with an unknown senior citizen in a Waffle House.
2. Hung out with NYT journalist Nickolas Kristof and Nobel Peace Prize winner Jody Williams, and disco'd with Carl Wilkens - the only American to stay in Rwanda during the genocide. Had donuts with Bob Goff.
3. Graduated college with a peace studies minor and Bachelors in organizational communication.
4. Took the Greyhound alone up and down the East Coast and met some amazing people with equally amazing stories.
