ABOUT ME

Huge nerd would probably be the most accurate description of my personality. If I read one wikipedia article I'll be clicking deeper and deeper into the annals of wiki-knowledge for far too long. On the other hand I'm a huge fan of the outdoors. I grew up on a lake that was in the woods of NC, USA and consequently have a deep love of the water and fascination with nature. I enjoy traveling and experiencing new cultures and started on couchsurfing in Ireland when I was doing a Eurotrip.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've mainly surfed, but now that I have my own place hopefully I can do some hosting.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Done some surfing over most of Europe over the span of a few months.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: Anything sci-fi, my favorite author is Peter F. Hamilton, I think The Void Trilogy is his best. My favorite classical book would have to be Les Miserables.

Movies: Again sci-fi, huge nerd remember? Star Wars and K-PAX to name a few though.

Music: I'm down with most everything. Recently started listening to indie on songza (internet radio) and thoroughly enjoy it. For artists though: RHCP, Kid Cudi, Hootie and the Blowfish, Offspring, ... and I enjoy some live music here and there.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Scuba dived on The Great Barrier Reef

Teach, Learn, Share

Experienced Windows/Linux user, any computer problems I can at least tell you what's wrong if not fix it.

I've got about 900 movies on my hard drive.

I was a Biomedical Technician for 2 years so I'm pretty proficient with electronics.

I've got some experience with cars, I've replaced the headgaket on a few different types of engines.

Want to learn: meditation, parkour, (better) spanish
